Donald E. Barth

Donald E. Barth, 82, Natoma, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Redbud Village in Plainville.

He was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Russell County to Henry Carl Jr. and Grace (Matheson) Barth. He graduated from Paradise High School in 1950.

He married Jolene A. Pfortmiller in November 1950 in Natoma. They later divorced. He was a farmer and rancher and worked at rodeos.

Survivors include his two sons, Mick Barth, Oberlin, and Marty Barth, Hays; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Paradise; interment of the cremains will follow the service.

Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Natoma is in charge of arrangements.
