Donald Glen Tiffin, 78, Russell, died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Salina Regional Hospital.

He was born Nov. 15, 1935, in Graham, Texas, to Remil Lorenzo and Hildred Faye (McGee) Tiffin.

He was a 1954 graduate of Graham High School and attended business school.

He married Peggy Jean Burgess in July 1956. She preceded him in death Oct. 23, 1978. He later married Glenda Rae Nance on Sept. 1, 1979, in Lincoln. He worked 37 years for Fina Oil and Chemical Co. and retired in 1994 as a district production superintendent.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Donald E. Tiffin, Midland, Texas; a daughter, Janet M. Garrett, Castle Rock, Colo.; a stepson Gregory A. Wassenberg, Salina; a brother, Harold Tiffin, Cuero, Texas; two sisters, Virginia Latimer, Lubbock, Texas, and Lois Boyle, Graham, Texas; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Congregational Church, Russell; burial in Russell City Cemetery.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to First Congregational Church, Russell, in care of the mortuary.
