Doris Roth, 91, Hays, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Via Christi Village Care Center, Hays.

She was born March 20, 1921, in Pfeifer to John J. and Elizabeth (Kisner) Dome.

She married John Donald Roth on Nov. 14, 1950, in Pfeifer. He preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1984. She was a homemaker and worked at Travenol in Hays.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays, and lived in Hays since 1985. She was a former member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Pfeifer, and a member of the Victoria Daughters of Isabella and Victoria Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Survivors include a brother, Floris Dome and wife, Bernadette, Pfeifer; a brother-in-law, Vitus Brungardt and wife, Gladys, Hays; two sisters-in-law, Helen Dome and Josepha Dome, both of Hays; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Dome and Leonard Dome; and two sisters, Gertude Brungardt and Florence Leiker.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Pfeifer; burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pfeifer.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by a Victoria Daughters of Isabella rosary and VFW memorial service at 7:30 p.m., all at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Charities Inc. or Masses in care of the mortuary.
