Douglas Ray Feldt

Douglas Ray Feldt, 37, Ellis, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident in Ellis County.

He was born Feb. 19, 1976, in Quinter to Anthony and Mary Ann (Rupp) Feldt. He was a 1994 graduate of Wheatland High School.

He was the marketing director for Woodbridge Home Exteriors.

He enjoyed all sports but especially playing and talking sports with his son, Cole.

Survivors include his father, Park; a son, Cole Feldt, WaKeeney; his fiancé, Verda Flinn, Ellis; her son, Todd Flinn and wife, Danielle, Oakley; a brother, Roy Feldt and wife, Linda, Rowlett, Texas; two sisters, Barbara Ellegood and husband, Tate, Hays, and Rosanne Schroeder and husband, Stan, Gilbert, Ariz.; three nephews, Jason Feldt and wife, Brittney, Greg Feldt and Matt Schroeder; and two nieces, Jenny Schroeder and Shelly Feldt.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Ed Feldt; and a niece, Shari Schroeder.

A celebration of life services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601.

Memorials are suggested toward his son's education fund in care of the funeral home.
