Marjorie Mae Dumler

Marjorie Mae Dumler, 89, Russell, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Riverview Estates, Marquette.

She was born July 4, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to John and Cecil M. (Davis) Pope.

She married Dean W. Dumler on May 23, 1942, in Great Bend. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was a bookkeeper and owner of Dumler's Antiques and Depression Glass.

Survivors include four daughters, Judy Knepp, Augusta, Cindy Pitcock, Russell, Betha Howard, Hays, and Christy Young, Marquette; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell; inurnment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Russell.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Russell VFW Post No. 6240 or to the Riverview Estates in care of the mortuary.
