Edeline Fischer

Edeline Fischer, 80, Wallace County, died Tuesday, Aug. 26,2008, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 7, 1927, in Park to Edgar and Edith (Cook) Kriegh. She graduated from Wallace County Community High School, Sharon Springs, and from Central Business College, Denver.

She married Edgar F. Fischer on Nov. 20, 1949, in Sharon Springs. He preceded her in death March 29, 1993. She was a bookkeeper for Ralph D. Walker.

Survivors include three sons, Virgil Fischer and Vernon Fischer, both of Sharon Springs, and Jerry Prawl, Moscow; four daughters, Jeanette Bishop, Wray, Colo., Jana Seibel, Topeka, Judy Sarni, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Joyce Bosserman, Oakley; two brothers, Max Kriegh, Winona, and Ronald Kriegh, Salina; five sisters, Wanda Minnix, Garden City, Lue Duffey, Menlo, Madge Gaschler, Longmont, Colo., Jo Ann Radiel, Salina, and Kay Kinney, Aurora, Colo.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Mountain time Friday at United Methodist Church, Sharon Springs; burial in Dinas Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Mountain time today at Koons Funeral Home, Sharon Springs, and one hour prior to service time Friday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Sharon Springs United Methodist Church (to be used for youth activities) in care of the funeral home.
