Edna Schoendaller, 84, La Crosse, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Locust Grove Village, La Crosse.

She was born Jan. 10, 1929, in rural Ellis County to Alois J. Werth Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Mc Intosh) Werth. She was a lifelong resident of Ellis County and Rush County. She was a 1947 graduate of La Crosse High School.

She married William J. Schoendaller on Oct. 25, 1948. He preceded her in death March 15, 2001. She owned and operated Edna's Fabrics & Gifts, La Crosse, prior to retirement.

She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and St. Michael's Altar Society, both of La Crosse.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann M. Saindon, and husband, Gregory, Ellis, and Cecelia J. Morse, Russell; a sister, Wilma Giebler and husband, Marvin, Kansas City, Kan.; nine grandchildren, Kevin Webster, Jeffrey Saindon, Lance Webster, Lucas Webster, Amy (Saindon) Rohr and husband, Brian, Jon Webster, Bryan Saindon, Dana Morse and Seth Morse; and six great-grandchildren, Sheldon Webster, Patricia Zion Webster, Lucas Webster, Eli Rohr, Alex Rohr and Carter Rohr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharon Webster; two brothers, Bernard "James" Werth, Alois Werth, Jr.; two infant brothers, George Werth and Alois Werth; three sisters, Mildred Werth, Rose Ruth Davis and Mathilda Kisner Dannels; and two infant sisters, Ida Marie Werth, and Elizabeth Werth.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, La Crosse; burial in La Crosse City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Michael's Altar Society, La Crosse, in care of the funeral home.
