Elfriede Mai, 90, WaKeeney, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Greenville, N.C.
She was born Sept. 11, 1921, in Palmer to William Henry Walter and Marie Sophie (Meyerhoff) Meier.
She married Albert Mai on May 27, 1951. He preceded her in death Sept. 25, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, John Mai, Salina, and Bruce Mai, WaKeeney; two daughters, Carolyn Green, Greenville, N.C., and Pam Kearby, Littleton, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Trego Center; inurnment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Trego Center.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Zion Lutheran Church elevator fund in care of Schmitt Funeral Home, 336 N. 12th, WaKeeney, KS 67672.
