Ellamae G. Moheng, 91, WaKeeney, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, WaKeeney.

She was born Dec. 18, 1921, in WaKeeney to Ernest and Meta (Schwanbeck) Mensing. She graduated from Sherman High School in Goodland.

She married Clarence F. Moheng on April 27, 1947, in Goodland. He preceded her in death March 14, 1985. She was a homemaker. She was a U.S. Woman's Army Corps veteran from 1943 to 1946 during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Mitchell C. Moheng, Gainesville, Ga.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery with military honors provided by Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney.
