Elmond L. Scott, 78, Hill City, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City.

He was born Oct. 2, 1934, in rural Grant Township of Norton County to Elmer and Hattie Leota (Hayes) Scott.

He married Anita Goff Wolf on March 3, 1960, in Cheyenne, Wyo. He was a power plant operator.

Survivors include his wife, Hill City; three sons, Danny Scott, Rock Springs, Wyo., Rick Scott, Lebanon, Ind., and Terry Wolf, Hill City; four daughters, Debbie Scott, Norton, Linda Clark, Emporia, Tina Glendy, WaKeeney, and Lorene Wetzel, Woodland Park, Colo.; two sisters, Nadine Snyder, Mesa, Ariz., and Helen Craig, Tonganoxie; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Church of God (Anderson Indiana Affiliation), Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to Lighthouse Church of God, Hill City, in care of the Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City.
