Elsie M. Jackson, 83, Rush Center, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born March 30, 1931, near Liebenthal to Andrew and Margaret (Herrman) Bieker.

She was a home health aide for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Gregory Jackson, Olathe, and Daniel Jackson, Hutchinson; two daughters, Jacqueline Jackson, Osage Beach, Mo., and Michal Jackson, New Mexico; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph L. Jackson on Feb. 17, 1985; a son, Lance Jackson; and a brother, Virgil Bieker.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in La Crosse City Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Elsie M. Jackson Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
