Elva L. Lindenman, 90, Hill City, formerly of Morland, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City.
She was born June 13, 1923, in Vader, Wash., to Walter Henry and Ruth Ida (McBride) Brown.
She married Elmer E. Lindenman on Jan. 29, 1947, in Denver. He preceded her in death March 13, 1994. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, John Lindenman, Morland, and Wade Lindenman, Edmond, Okla.; five daughters, Lois Richmeier, Morland, Rita Feely, Independence, Mo., Caroline Bartlett, Goddard, Thea Pfeifer, Conrad, N.C., and Julia Rabuck, Manhattan; a brother, Calvin Brown, Canada; a sister, Della LaRose, Edmonton, Alberta Canada; 23 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Hill City; burial in Morland City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City, and from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City, in care of the funeral home.
