Esther Bauman (Haselden) Wasinger, 77, died Friday, March 15, 2013, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 28, 1936, in Logan, Utah, to Charles Jacob and Lillie Mae (Hunt) Bauman.

She married Felix R. Wasinger on Dec. 7, 2002. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered at Hutchison Public Library and Victory in the Valley.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, David Wayne Haselden, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Kirk Haselden, Issaquah, Wash.; four daughters, Rebecca Schoeffler, Rose Hill, Leah Bergmann, Clearwater, LuAnn Dove, Hutchinson, and Kat Chrisman, Rose Hill; four stepdaughters, Karen Washburn, Hutchinson, Mary Grotz, Houston, Joan Rosenberg, Lincoln, Neb., and Laura Lockee, Pierce, Neb.; four siblings, Charles Bauman, Charlene Weaver, Ruth Bauman and Olin J. Bauman, all of Utah; 37 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Adam H. and Brett Spackman; and a great-granddaughter, Marissa Idel Stephens.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 518 E. 43rd, Hutchinson; burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Friends can call until 9 p.m. Monday, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
