Esther E. White, 88, Russell, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Russell Regional Hospital.

She was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Russell to Gottfred and Eva (Ehrlich) Laubhan. She was a 1943 graduate of Russell High School.

She married Raymond J. Tague on Feb. 6, 1944, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He preceded her in death in 1977. She later married Dr. Fagan White on Dec. 23, 1979. She was a sales clerk for many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Lucinda Ranabargar. Petrolia; two sisters, Frances Wagner, Russell, and Rozella Ruhl, Fallbrook, Calif.; two stepsons, Ward White and Danny White; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Karl R. Tague; and a stepson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Russell; burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Russell.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to Russell Hospital Auxiliary, St. John Lutheran Church or Trinity United Methodist Church, both of Russell, in care of the mortuary.
