Evelyn Bedore, 91, Hill City, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Graham County Hospital, Hill City.

She was born Aug. 30, 1918, in Palco to Carl and Grace (Mays) Stithem.

She married Richard "Pete" Bedore on Nov. 19, 1936, in Zurich. He preceded her in death May 20, 2003. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Bedore, Aurora, Colo., and Chris Bedore, Stockton; a daughter, JoAnn Chevez, Irving, Texas; a brother, Dale Stithem, Longmont, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie and Darrell.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Damar; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Palco.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church.

A vigil/rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Masses or Dawson Place Nursing Home in care of the funeral home.
