Evelyn Mae (Lickey) King, 100, Plainville, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Redbud Village, Plainville.

She was born July 26, 1912, in Wichita to Edward and Clara (Gibson) Lickey.

She married Jess W. King in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1988.

Survivors include a son, Merle W. Jephson-King, Plainville; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Clayton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Plainville United Methodist Church; burial in Plainville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 S.W. Second, Plainville, KS 67663.

Memorials are suggested to Plainville United Methodist Church or Redbud Village in care of the funeral home.
