Everett Pruter Jr., 77, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, in Hays.
He was born July 2, 1935, near Natoma to Everett and Dorothy (Reese) Pruter. He was a 1953 graduate of Natoma High School.
He married Kay Christensen on Aug. 1, 1955.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Kally McConkey, Wamego, Carrie Pruter and Angie Koshgarian, both of Salina, Deena Ruggels, Russell, and Kenda Johnson, Hays; two brothers, Donald Pruter and Roger Pruter; two sisters, Betty Corwin and Elaine Lewis; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Jon in 1981.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, Natoma; burial in Natoma Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Natoma.
Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church or Russell Regional Hospital -- Outpatient in care of the mortuary.
