Father Joseph H. Scheetz

Father Joseph H. Scheetz, 85, WaKeeney, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Trego Manor, WaKeeney.

He was born April 8, 1927, in Clayton to Leonard and Marie (Otter) Scheetz.

Survivors include three brothers, Father Daniel Scheetz, Ellsworth, Donald Scheetz, Clyde, and Raymond Scheetz, Clayton; three sisters, Mary Lee Brooks, Norton, Julianne Gallentine, Oberlin, and Eileen McCuistion, Gladstone, Mo.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney; burial will be at 3 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery, New Almelo.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Christ the King Catholic Building Fund or Masses.

Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie, is in charge of arrangements.
