Fern R. Wilhelm Fuller, 88, Hays, formerly of Galatia, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Trinity Manor, Dodge City.

She was born April 16, 1926, in Russell County to Alex and Martha (Deines) Flegler.

She married Emanuel Wilhelm on Oct. 6, 1946, in rural Barton County. He preceded her in death in April 1980. She later married Joe Fuller on May 17, 1986, in Hoisington. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hays, and Sunflower Polka Club.

Survivors include a son, Steve Wilhelm, and wife, Donna, Galatia; a daughter, Vickie Williamson, Dodge City; three grandchildren, Sheila Prater, Scott Dumler, and Sarah Williamson; and five great-grandchildren, Dalton Prater, Brayden Prater, Isabella Dumler, Lola Dumler and Hudson Dumler.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Benhardt Flegler, Luther Flegler and Albert Flegler.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington; burial in Hoisington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington.

Memorials are suggested to Riordin Clinic Health Center or Kans for Kids, in care of the funeral home.
