Floris Wilma Urban, 96, Russell, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Hays Good Samaritan Society, Hays.

She was born June 28, 1916, in Graham County to Alva John and Ruby Violet (Tolman) Bush. She was a 1936 graduate of Bunker Hill High School.

She married Simon J. Urban on Dec. 30, 1940, in Russell. He preceded her in death March 10, 1992. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, James J. "Jim" Urban, Liberal; two daughters, Simone Ginther, Waldo, and Elizabeth "Betty" Mead, Paradise; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Russell; burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Russell.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Hays Good Samaritan Society in care of the mortuary.
