Frances Ilene Kraft

Frances Ilene Kraft, 80, Russell, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born March 15, 1934, in Berwyn, Neb., to Louis and Ada (Pete) Fisher. She was a 1952 graduate of Broken Bow High School. After high school, she attended the Kearney Teachers College in Nebraska.

She mrried Herbert Kraft on Aug. 25, 1954, in Ellsworth.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Terrence R. Kraft, Dodge City and Daniel Kraft, Russell; two daughters, Cathy Frazier, Salina, and Cindy Brownback, Americus; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; and a son.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell; cremation will follow the service.

Viewing and visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to American Lung Association in care of the mortuary.
