Francis J. Goracke, 88, rural Phillipsburg, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg.

He was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Phillips County to Clarence and Edna (Bradley) Goracke.

He worked at Tamko for 28 years.

Survivors include a son, Harvey, Phillipsburg; a daughter, Joyce Bretton, Glade; a brother, Dee Goracke, Hastings, Neb.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tillie, in 2012.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Services in care of the funeral home.
