Frank 'Sonny' Jr. Wilson

Frank "Sonny" Jr. Wilson, 84, Oakley, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Citizens Medical Center, Colby.

He was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Colby to Frank and Cathern (Cox) Wilson.

He married Joanne Hanna on Sept. 17, 1947, in Oakley. She preceded him in death. He was a retired farmer and rancher.

Survivors include his three sons, Rex, Rod and Cliff Wilson, all of Oakley; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Robyn and Cody Wilson; three brothers, Lloyd, Clyde and Clarence Wilson; and five sisters, Elva Pilkington, Pearl Wilson (infant), Goldie Wilson, Bessie "Bep" Luebke and Jeannie McDonald.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakley United Methodist Church; burial in Oakley Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley.

Memorials are suggested to Oakley United Methodist Church in care of funeral home.
