Frank Adair Clark, 96, Salina, formerly of WaKeeney, Quinter, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Hays, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, in Salina.

He was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Hays to Frank C. and Grace (Billings) Clark. He attended Diamond and Silver Lake School in Trego County and graduated from Silver Lake in 1932 and Trego County High School in 1936.

He married Marie Yanda on June 5, 1943. She preceded him in death in 2006. In 1970, he transferred to ENT Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., and worked there until retirement in December 1982.

Survivors include four nieces, Carolyn Yanda-Haak, Phoenix, Birdie Noel and Kathy Toguchi, both of Wichita, and Julie Sheely, Minneapolis; and two nephews, Melvin Yanda, Enterprise, Ala., and Jim Yanda, Oxford.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney; burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, with a vigil following, both at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney.

Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
