Frederick Lagergren, 95, Phillipsburg, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at his home.
He was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Randall to William and Mary (Wellman) Lagergren.
He worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service for 35 years.
Survivors include a son, Ralph, Wichita; two daughters, Joan Bowman, Phillipsburg, and Nancy Greuter, Wharton, N.J.; a sister, Rosella Damon, Mankato; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two wives, Beulah and Josephine; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg; graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato, with military rites by U.S. Coast Guard.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Tuesday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
Memorials are suggested to Westview Homes bench fund, ALS Association or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in care of the funeral home.
