Gail J. Kindler, 87, Russell, formerly of Esbon and Long Beach, Calif., died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Main Street Main, Russell.
He was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Esbon to John Lester and Rose Nell (Nebel) Kindler. He attended Kindler School and graduated from Esbon High School.
He married Agnes Helen Mizner on May 28, 1943, in Mankato. He worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Co. for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; and a sister, Nila Mae Emmert, Russell.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Esbon Cemetery, Esbon. A gathering will be following the graveside service at the Esbon Senior Center.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to Esbon Senior Center in care of Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
