Galyn F. Crossley, 83, Oakley, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in Hays.

He was born June 27, 1930, in Great Bend to Arden and Darlene (Baumgartner) Crossley.

He married Naomi Ruth Gaskill on June 5, 1955, in Wellington. He was a U.S. Marine veteran.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 331, VFW Post No. 2981 and Oakley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Glenn Crossley and fiance, Kim Pickering, Fort Morgan, Colo., and Gary Crossley and wife, Catherine, Wamego; two daughters, Ruth Wilson and husband, Rod, Oakley, and Brenda George and husband, Bill, Rose Hill; a sister, Maxine Peter, Ellinwood; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Robyn Wilson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oakley United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.

Memorials are suggested to Oakley United Methodist Church or Fritz Hansen Apartments in care of the mortuary.
