Gene Robert Keith, 75, Soldotna, Alaska, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at his home.

He was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Penokee to Robert and Dorothy Keith.

He married Gail Hannan in 1966, in Burns, Ore. He was a district manager for Bureau of Land Management. He was U.S. Army veteran, serving in infantry.

Survivors include his wife, Soldotna; four sons, Robert Keith, Washington, James Keith, Farmington, N.M., and Ray Keith and Chad Keith, both of Soldotna; a daughter, Felicia Keith-Jones, Sterling, Alaska; a brother, Dwane Anderson, Salida, Colo.; a sister, Doris Warner, Garfield; and six grandchildren.

Services were Thursday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; burial in Kansas Veterans Cemetery, WaKeeney.
