George T. Lovelady

George T. Lovelady, 77, Hill City, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at his home.

He was born Sept. 18, 1930, in Batesland, S.D., to Adrian Monroe and Florence (Thompson) Lovelady.

He married Doris Trarbach on July 22, 1955, in Hill City. He was a mechanic and farmer.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Brad Lovelady, Quinter, and Stan Lovelady, Plainville; a daughter, Carla Boucher, Manhattan; a brother, Bill Lovelady, Gardenerville, Nev.; two sisters, LaVonne Kessler, Reston, Va., and Gwen Williams, Westminster, Colo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, Hill City; burial in Hill City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, both at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City, and from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church or Southwinds Hospice in care of the funeral home.
