Gerald L. Mai, 74, WaKeeney, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital in WaKeeney.

He was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Garden City to Herbert and Esther (Deines) Mai.

He married Wanda Warren on Sept. 10, 1960, in WaKeeney.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Craig Mai, Cottonwood, Ariz.; a daughter, Laura Mai Wolf, East Hampton, N.Y.; two brothers, Myron Mai, Denver, and Jim Mai, Wichita; two sisters, Karen Smith, Denver, and Joan Roberts, Parker.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney.

Memorials are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Big Creek Golf Course, both in WaKeeney.
