Gerrit Jansonius, 90, Phillipsburg, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at Colonial Villa, Alma, Neb.
He was born Sept. 16, 1910, in Phillips County to John and Mary (LaPoire) Jansonius.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Erma, Phillipsburg; two sons, Gary, Lahoma, Okla., and Ron, Oberlin; two daughters, Amy Hanson, Lawrence, and Julie Satter, Topeka; two sisters, Annette Hein, Troy, Mich., and Elsie Allen, Denver; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, with military honors by Fort Riley.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
Memorials are suggested to First Lutheran Church or Hospice services in care of the funeral home.
