Gertrude Brasted
Gertrude Brasted, 97, Logan, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Logan Manor.
She was born March 2, 1911, in Republican City, Neb., to Charles E. and Eva (Chapman) McClurg.
She married Charles P. Brasted on March 15, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Survivors include a son, Ivan Brasted, Logan; two daughters, Agnes Hicks, Hays, and Dorothy Wilcox, Savannah, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Logan Christian Church; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, both at Logan Funeral Home, and until time of service Saturday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Logan Manor or Hospice services in care of the funeral home.
