Gloria Jean Lang, 67, Hays, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at her home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1945, in Loretto to Sylvester and Alfreda (Pfeifer) Urban. She was a graduate of Victoria High School and attended Fort Hays State University.

She married Vic Lang on July 7, 1987, in Hays. She was an office manager for R.P. Nixon Oil Co.

She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Greg Brown, Colby, and Scott Brown and wife, Theresa, Smolan; a daughter, Jaime Brown and significant other, Christopher Winslow, Hays; two stepsons, David Lang and wife, Rhonda, Lansing, and Tommy Lang, Hays; a stepdaughter, Dana Timmons, St. Francis; a brother, Barry Urban, Loretto; a sister, Janice Urban, Hays; seven grandchildren, Kenneth, Dakota, Adreanne, Rheanna, Kaitlyn, Ava, and Angel Walters; and five stepgrandchildren, Brittney and Taylor Lang, Darris, Casey, and Connor Keller.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Brown.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, both Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine.

A Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 6 p.m. Monday, followed by a vigil at 6:30 p.m., both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to an education fund for her grandchildren or Masses in care of the funeral home.
