Hugo Amilcar Liborio Gomez

Hugo Amilcar Liborio, 29, Hays, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

He was born March 4, 1980, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to Hugo Amilcar Liborio Barahona and Irma Coralia Gomez. He received his theology diploma for the Word of Life Bible Institute in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He married Sarah Elizabeth Breeden on Feb. 14, 2004, in Hays. They both were missionaries in the Dominican Republic with SCORE International.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Mattias, 2; a daughter, Layla, 2 months, both of the home; his parents, El Salvador; and two sisters, Febe Moreno and Cesia Duran, both of El Salvador.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at North Oak Community Church, Hays.

Memorials has been established with SCORE, "Sharing Christ Our Redeemer Everywhere," in care of Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine.
