Marvin Wayne Gordon, 87, Hill City, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.

He was born May 17, 1925, in rural Collyer to Marvin and Elsie Ellen (Campbell) Gordon.

He was a farmer/stockman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Survivors include a brother, Jim "Shirley" Gordon, WaKeeney; and two sisters, Betty Vines, Seagonville, Texas, and Marjorie McAdams, Dallas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to Trego Manor in care of the funeral home.
