Grace Lenora (Grisham) Lundy, 88, Hays, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Via Christi Village.

She was born March 17, 1924, in Okmulgee, Okla., to Claude and Viola (Wiggins) Grisham.

She married Sherrill Eldon Lundy on March 17, 1947, in Zenith. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 1976. She was a homemaker and a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell prior to marriage.

She enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, David Lundy and wife, Debbie, Pine, Colo., and Stephen Lundy and wife, Nancy, Hays; a daughter, Claudia Stremel and friend, Arlyn Wasinger, Hays; a brother, James F. Grisham and wife, Barbara, Hastings, Neb.; her grandchildren, Jon and Marcey Lundy, Corona, Calif., Sarah and Justin Simpson, Fort Collins, Colo., Jenny and Mike Sandborn, Story, Wyo., Valerie and Jarel Wendelburg, Cedar Lake, Ind., Mindy Lundy, Littleton, Colo., Rebecca and Jeff Baier, Hays, Rachel and Kyle Owens, Manhattan, Amanda and James McCord, and Joshua and Kelsey Stremel, all of Hays, and Bradley Stremel, Schoenchen; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, John J. Stremel.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine; burial in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays.

Friends can call from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Church of the Nazarene, 108 S. Meridian, Plainville, KS 67663.
