Greg Thorne, 52, Erie, Colo., died Sunday, August 29, 2010, in Boulder, Colo.

He was born April 8, 1958, in Garden City to Donald Matthew Thorne and Ernestine (Barber) Thorne.

He married Kathleen (Burton) Thorne on Sept. 1, 1984, in Boulder. He had a 30-year career in electronic technology, primarily at Rocky Flats and then HID Global.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Nikki, Erie; his mother, Hays; two sisters, Sherry Leiker and husband, Randy, Hays, and Gayle Johnson and husband, Rick, Stillwater, Okla; a sister-in-law, Annette Martin and husband, Ron, Lincoln, Neb.; a mother-in-law, Patricia Burton, Topeka; and five nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Thorne, on June 21, 2001.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder.
