Gwen L. Sell, 89, La Crosse, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Rush County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, La Crosse.

She was born Nov. 23, 1922, in Wallace to Leo W. and Minnie I. (Bitter) Frazier. She was a lifelong resident of Rush County and a 1940 graduate of La Crosse High School.

She married Vernon "Sam" Sell on July 6, 1946, in Reno, Nev. He preceded her in death March 10, 1994. She was a legal secretary for Neil Hotchkiss before her retirement.

Survivors include a daughter, Katie "Kathy" McKim and husband, John, Great Bend; a brother, Thane Frazier, Lyons; two grandchildren, Roger Nelson and Jacque Serevicz; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jay Frazier; and a sister, Martha Frazier-Kimbrel.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, La Crosse; inurnment in La Crosse City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:30 to 10:55 a.m. Saturday at the church.
