Harvey M. Samuelson, 85, Quinter, formerly of Oakley, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

He was born April 16, 1927, in rural Logan County near Page City to Antone and Anna (Peterson) Samuelson.

He married Freda Wright in May 1949. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Scott, Quinter; a son-in-law, David Molstad and wife, Susan, Ellis; a brother, John R.; a sister-in-law, Pearl Samuelson; a brother-in-law, Bud Wright and wife, Alberta; and six grandchildren, Elyse, Adrienne and Paige Molstad, and Blaine, Brynn and Tanner Samuelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Christin Molstad; and four brothers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Buffalo Bill Cultural Center, Oakley.

Memorials are suggested to the Oakley or Quinter Senior Citizens Center in care of Baalmann Mortuary, P.O. Box 204, Oakley, KS 67748.
