Hazel E. Wilbur, 94, Hill City, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City.

She was born April 13, 1916, in Fairbury, Neb., to Henry August and Lydia (Meyer) Fredde.

She married Vernon Henry on Sept. 26, 1934. She later married John Wilbur in 1962. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Henry, Hill City, and Roger Henry, Denver; three daughters, Doris Wagoner, Edmond, Lois Zelenka, Hill City, and Marilyn Grigsby, Dallas; two brothers, Lester Fredde, Norton, and Delmar Fredde, Willard, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Mauck, and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
