Helen Ann Miller, 101, Ellis, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society, Hays.

She was born May 5, 1913, on the family farm north of Ellis to William and Louisa (Zerfas) Dietrich. She married Harry Miller on Sept. 21, 1937, in Ellis. He died January 2, 1996.

She was a homemaker and worked at the family grocery store, Miller's IGA.

She is survived by a son, Max Miller, Topeka; a daughter, Ruth Schuster and husband Don, Hays; two grandsons, Todd Schuster, Overland Park, and Troy Schuster, Lee's Summit; and six great-grandchildren, Katrina, Brandon and Ashley Schuster and Cassidy, Kylie and Colin Schuster.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Bern Dietrich and Rose Dietrich.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis; burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Tuesday.
