Ilene F. Coomes-Lebeda, 73, Phillipsburg, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at Colonial Villa, Alma, Neb.

She was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Norton County to Merle and Elsie (Douk) Shearer.

She married Lyman O. Coomes on Sept. 4, 1960, in Phillipsburg. He preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Donald Lebeda on Dec. 31, 1994, in Las Vegas.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; four sons, Rick, Kensington, Jeff and Kevin, both of Phillipsburg, and Steve, Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Sharon Spresser, Phillipsburg; a brother, Ron Shearer, Almena; a sister, Wanda Jackson, Hill City; her step-children, Philip Lebeda, Thornton, Colo., and Whitney Altenbern, Cheyenne, Wyo.; 32 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney; a daughter, Shayla; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; burial in Plainview Cemetery, Phillips County.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with family receiving friends from 3 to 5 p.m., both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Phillipsburg Little Kids Wrestling in care of the funeral home.
