Irene Marie Cressler

Irene Marie Cressler, 78, Hoxie, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Sheridan County Health Complex Long Term Care, Hoxie.

She was born Jan. 21, 1935, in Hoxie to E.W. and Dollie (Lowe) Beach.

She married Larry Cressler on April 14, 1953, in Hoxie.

She was a 60-year member of First Presbyterian Church, Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Ross Cressler and wife, Lynetta, and Herb Cressler and wife, Marita, all of Hoxie; two daughters, LaRene Jackson, Lawrence, and Lori Cressler, Hoxie; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Roy and Russell Cressler; and a great-grandson.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Hoxie; burial in Hoxie City Cemetery.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Friday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.

Memorials are suggested to First Presbyterian Church or Sheridan County Benefit Walk Foundation in care of the funeral home.
