Irene W. Stoecker
Irene Stoecker, 97, Oakley, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Logan County Hospital.
She was born May 3, 1915, in Lane County to Albert and Bessie (Simonsen) Vollbracht.
She married August Stoecker on June 2, 1935, in Oakley. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Larry, Dayton, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oakley United Methodist Church; burial in Oakley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, Oakley.
Memorials are suggested to the church, Logan County Hospital Independent Living, or Logan County Manor in care of the funeral home.
