Jack E. Frey, 81, Oakley, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Salina Regional Health Center.

He was born April 8, 1932, in Selden to Dewey and Fairel (Patterson) Frey.

He married Shirley Paavola on Jan. 3, 1956, in Sioux Falls, S.D. He was a farmer. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Rhonda Clark, Celina, Texas, Debra Rowley, Erie, Colo., and Diane Whittington, Melissa, Texas; a brother, Jon Frey, Parker, Colo.; a sister, Janell Bader, Redmond, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Oakley United Methodist Church; burial in Oakley Cemetery, with military honors.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, P.O. Box 221, Oakley KS 67748.

Memorials are suggested to Oakley United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
