Jack W. Rose. 92, Agra, died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Prairie Haven Nursing Home, Kensington.
He was born Sept. 22, 1917, in Phillips County to Joseph and Sadie (Lesher) Rose.
He married Bertha Diercks on July 19, 1942, in Kensington. She preceded him in death Feb. 3, 2002. He was a farmer.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth, Agra; a daughter, Verlene Childers, Lakewood, Colo.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, Kensington; burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Kensington, with military honors by Agra American Legion.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 7 to 8 p.m., both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.
Memorials are suggested to Agra American Legion or St. John Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
