James D. "Jim" Cooper, 66, Stockton, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Solomon Valley Manor, Stockton.
He was born June 26, 1946, in Phillipsburg to Earl and Viola (Arment) Cooper.
He married Susan (Hrabe) Cooper on Dec. 30, 1967, in Plainville.
Survivors include his wife, Plainville; two daughters, Mistie Cooper, Kansas City, Mo., and Mindie Cooper, Hays; a sister, Earlyne Hearld and husband, Thomas, Plainville; four grandchildren, Amber Cooper, Ashley Ulmer, Donald and Autumn Maskrid; and a great-grandchild, Adam Maskrid.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Viola; an infant sister, Teala; an infant brother; and a son-in-law, John Thompson.
There will be no services; private inurnment will be at a later date. There will be no visitation.
