James J. 'Jim' Searle, 71, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, in Stafford.
He was born July 29, 1938, in Stafford to Harry and Minnie Searle.
He was a graduate of Hudson High School. He retired from Halliburton Services.
He married Anna Vee Shelton on March 4, 1960.
Survivors include his wife, Stafford; a son, Jeff Searle, Wichita; a daughter, Sheri Searle, Olathe; a sister, Darlene "Sally" Bauer, Hudson; a brother, Gaylen Searle, Hudson; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Community Church, Hudson. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorials are sugested to Trinity Community Church or the Hudson Community Club Development Fund in care of Minnis Chapel, 125 N. Main, Stafford.

Anna Vee, we just wanted to say how sorry we were to hear about Jim. Darryl just loved working with him at Halliburton. I remember all the cooking he would do and he would always give the guys some. I have recipes from him. Our deepest sympathy. Darryl, Deanna, Darren & Deonna Wellbrock

Anna Vee, Jeff, Sheri, and families~ So sorry to hear about the passing of your husband and father. Jim was such a nice man, always had a smile on his face, and always joking. Can't imagine him any other way. Just wanted to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Anna Vee, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Jim. He was such a nice man, and I'm sure your family is going to feel a real void without him.
