Janell Lynn Burmeister, 44, Ellsworth, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Ellsworth.

She was born June 20, 1968, in Salina to Leonard and Janie (Burger) Burmeister.

She was a volunteer at Ellsworth City Hall and Humane Society of the High Plains, Hays, and a faithful servant at Evangelical Free Church, Ellsworth.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Wilson.

Survivors include her parents; a brother, Jeffery Burmeister, Ellsworth; a sister, Janetta Richardson and husband, Scott, Hays; a nephew, Kayl Richardson, Hays; three nieces, Amanda and Amber Burmeister, both of Randelman, N.C., and Cheyenne Butler, Ellsworth; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by a nephew, Joseph Pruitt.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Wilson; burial in Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Friday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

Memorials are suggested to the church in care of the funeral home.
