Jerrod Allen Nickelson, 35, Hill City, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in Hays.

He was born Dec. 8, 1977, in Hill City to Oren Dean and Diana Ruberta (Keith) Nickelson.

He married Libby Michelle Elliott on March 23, 2002, in Hill City. He was a farmer and worked in dirt construction.

Survivors include his wife, Norton; two sons, Caine Allen Nickelson and Cope William Nickelson, both of Norton; a daughter, Corgan Paige Nickelson, Norton; his mother, Penokee; his mother-in-law and father in-law, Bill and Kay Elliott, Hill City; his grandmother, Jean Nickelson, WaKeeney; and a brother, Jay Dean Nickelson, Penokee.

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandfathers; and his grandmothers, Madeline and Eva Keith.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hill City; burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City.

Memorials are suggested to his children's education fund in care of the funeral home.
